Liebster Blog Award

Recently, I was nominated by two different blogs (You LIKE me! You really like me!) for this award. One was from Marissa at http://www.aguilarmarissa.blogspot.com/ and the other was from Alyssa at Life, Love, and All That Army Stuff.

Things have been busy around here (I've got some fun news!), so I'm JUST getting around to doing this. Here we go!

About me:

1: When I was younger, my career goals included becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model and a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. My mom thought it was hilarious and made me talk about it whenever a pretentious parent declared their child was going to be a lawyer or doctor. 

2: I can't be in the same room as someone who is brushing their teeth. The sound makes my skin crawl. 

3: My dream job now would be working for NASA. I don't even care about what I'm doing. I would answer the phones if that meant I could work for that incredible organization. 

4: I have over 80 nail polishes. All different colors. 

5: Don't touch my armpits. At all. Don't get close, don't joke, don't try. I'm not responsible for what happens to your face or body if you do. 

6: I read books about space and physics for fun. 

7: I miss college. I want to get my Masters, but I also consider going back for another bachelors in astrophysics, astronomy, or engineering. 

8: At 24, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol. Guess all those pizza and burgers finally caught up with me. It's under control now.

9: I've traveled to Russia, Finland, Northern Ireland, and Mexico. 

10: The Husband and I are pretty much obsessed with Washington DC and would like to live in or around there one day. 

11: Vacuuming and ironing are a couple of my favorite chores because I can see immediate results.

1: What's one major life event that you wish you could relive just once?: It's a toss up between our wedding and college graduation. I can't pick, so I won't. 

2: What is one "must have" in your dream home?: A balcony off of my master suite. I've always wanted a balcony off of my room. I have no idea why exactly, but I'm obsessed. 

3: Do you remember your first cell phone? Describe it: Oh yeah I do. It was the brick Nokia. My mom bought me a sparkly blue cover for it. I had a pager, but my mom decided it was time for a phone when I reminded her that she could page me 24 times, but if there was no phone, it wouldn't matter. 

4: What's your dream car?: Hmmm... a Dodge Challenger or a BMW M5. White. 

5: What is your favorite blog that does NOT qualify for a Liebster award?: That would be my real life BFF over at Three Years Down.

6: Name your biggest guilty pleasure: Sushi. It's expensive but delicious and I would eat it every single day if I could. 

7: Place you would love to travel but haven't gone yet?: Greece. I'm half Greek and would love to visit some of my family that is still there. 

8: Are you from a large family or a small family?: Small. I am an only child. 

9: Where did you meet your significant other?: At youth group. ::dawwwwwww!::

10: Favorite color?: Pink. Or purple. 

11: What state do you live in?: California. Can't wait to move back to Nevada...
