So here I am...
I decided to go for it. Blogging about this lifestyle, that is. I wanted to talk about my life and in the process, maybe bring a little information or comic relief to myself and others in my situation.
I guess now would be a good time to give you my "credentials". I've been married for a little over 3 years. My husband has been a Marine for a little over three years and just re-enlisted for another 4 (I know... What in the world was he thinking?). Surprisingly, we're both excited to see what comes next. I'm 23. I was a young bride. We had decided to get married way before the Marine Corps ever came into the picture. That idea popped up about 6 months before our wedding. It had been a dream of his and what can I say? I love that uniform. ;)
Getting married early means that school was put on the back burner for a time, but here I am, back in school, getting my B.A. in Psychology. What I'll do with it, I'm not entirely sure, but don't let my MyCAA counselor know that.
No kids. Not for a while.
The Husband has deployed to Iraq twice and we anticipate he will be joining the rest of the boys in Afghanistan once he is finished with his schooling for the lat move.
I can't wait to get this thing rolling. Like I said, I'm here to document my experiences, but I also want to help you. If you have any questions or if there's anything you would like me to discuss, let me know!
