Hi my lovelies!
I know I've been absent. I'm sorry! Things have been insane at school. I turned in a research paper today and I have 3 more that I need to start... Ugh! The good news is that I register for my last semester as an undergrad this Friday, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Moreattention whoring good news!
The Husband was promoted to Sergeant this Monday. I don't have pictures because the ceremony was small and done in his CO's office with a couple of Sgts and Staff Sgts present. And I wasn't there. One of these days, I'll see him promoted! I'm putting that on my bucket list.
We're also celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary today, which is also our seven year anniversary of when we started dating. Amazing. Who'dathunkit? Here's to 50 more! I'm sure it'll be here before I know it... Scary! :) He sent me an Edible Arrangements bouquet, and let me tell you, it's amazing. I love classic roses just as much as anyone else, but this was a bouquet of fruit... meaning I could eat it... meaning I was even more excited to see that at my door this morning. He got Call of Duty: Black Ops. Well, a receipt for it since it's a pre-order, but this time next week, he'll be lost in the game. We'll eventually get to celebrate together next month (Holy crap! I get to see him and our new home next month!), but for now, we're doing so separately. Oh well, 2 out of 4 together isn't bad.
How do you guys celebrate your anniversaries or special occasions when separated? Together?

Congrats to him on the promotion! It's on my bucket list to see mine get promoted too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to him and the both of you for the anniversary! It's great you are so optimistic even though you are apart.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! For promotions, anniversaries, and milestones! Very cool. Ryan and I just hit six months being married and he gave me some gorgeous sunflowers (:
